A Short Essay on Ephemera was written for the book ‘Some Forms of Availability’, 2007 as a descriptive text dealing specifically with Coracle Ephemera, and as a critical and practical riposte to Steven Leiber’s ‘Extra Art: A Survey of Artists’ Ephemera’, 2001. It was first made in the form of a parallel spiral for a cardboard drinks mat in 2011, and later as a ceramic plate in 2015. Here it is printed on glass, with no particular function. Disc 62mm diam.
