mirroirs

Simon Cutts

1984

36pp 150 x 130mm printed letterpress, casebound, with mirror board endpapers. The reverse narrative takes place from the back of the book, to the fuul-stops each side the knot of the centrefold, as the reading of a tale might be observed in the reflection of a train window : the mirror turns to window holding a minnow moving by a willow, as a pebble is thrown into the page, making ripples which emanate to the edge and back to the centre. The front half of the book is therefore empty, apart from the reversed colophon.
